In short: Foilbox collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Your collection

Your cards, wishlist, binders, notes and values are stored on your iPhone. If you use iCloud, Apple keeps a copy in your own private iCloud account so your devices stay in sync. We can't see it.

The camera

The scanner reads cards on your iPhone. Camera images are processed on the device and are never saved or sent anywhere.

What the app downloads

To show card details, images and prices, the app downloads public files. Like any website, these servers can see your IP address and the time of the request; no other information about you is sent.

• Foilbox's price server (data.foilbox.app, hosted by Cloudflare): daily market prices and price history.
• TCGdex (tcgdex.net): card images, and prices if our server can't be reached.
• The European Central Bank (ecb.europa.eu): exchange rates.

Exports and backups

Spreadsheet exports and backups are only created when you ask for them, and only shared where you choose to share them.

Children

Foilbox collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
